This forum is about anything MLG related. If you have any comments, questions or concerns regarding Murder Love God or the debut album then this is the place to voice them.
For those that don't know what MLG is....you shouldn't even be here. But in case your mind is suffocating from ignorance then i will enlighten you. Murder Love God is the solo project of me(MEDAVON). It has been in the works for years but up until a few months ago it was just a closet thing to do when i was bored. I recently decided to put out an album of all the extra and excessive songs I have been working on. Unexpectedly the whole group of songs took on a life of there own and together became conceptual.
The upcoming album "Sell me Your Soul" is a scattered story of the second coming of Christ. But this time he is pissed! Unhappy with the way things went down the last time he was here. How he was sold out by everyone close to him. Disgusted with his faith and followers. On the path of the righteous but also on a path that needs to be cleansed of sin. Armed with a 38. Special and excessive desire to free the world from their body and blood. Not far from his side is his new age Mary who resurrected his dead heart and helped him down from his crooked cross. And after all his followers are dead he then takes his own life and therefor ends the world.
That is the short of it and it all occurs quite by coincedence.
The album is scheduled to come out in late Fall but I'm thinking more like late November would be more practical. You can hear some of the MLG songs live in LOCKJAW along with all your fav LJ songs.

| What a beautiful & brilliant creation! The lyrics are so deep & the music is breathtaking! I cant' help it, but I've had this cd on repeat all day. To be honest, your songs are refreshing--I'm so glad I bought this cd! Every song is just AMAZING! I could keep going on, but simply put... I LOVE THIS CD! Wonderful job Medavon! |

| Wow! That makes me feel really good that you like it that much. I think it comes across well because I had no preconceived intention on how I wanted it to sound. It is also very appreciated that you found the lyrics to be deep.....I don't hear that often. Maybe that my lyrics are dirty or tasteless but not often deep. Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
